A Year Ago and a Giveaway
Monday, September 19th, 2011Hi,
I’ll make this short. I’m very grateful for all of the extraordinary friends I’ve made through this little blog. I’ve met so many talented people that have inspired me in many ways. One in particular, is my friend Diana. She encouraged me to feature my Polaroids on a blog and well…here we are.
I’m having a giveaway for my one year blogiversary and as a thank you to all of the readers of this blog. Thank you for stopping by and leaving such encouraging comments.
To be entered into the giveaway you just have to leave a comment stating you’d like to be entered and the most embarrassing moment in your life…No, not really. Just leave a comment and your favorite line from a movie. I will assign each entry a number and use random.org to select the winner. Blogging about this giveaway will earn you a second entry!
The winner will be chosen on Monday Morning, Sept. 26

My most embarrassing moment is from a movie. Any teenage nightmare. I can’t even be embarrassed about it at this point because it’s so cliche: I tripped in the crowded eating area at lunch in high school and went flying, my backpack flew back & I bounced on the ground. Yup. Just like in a movie.
One of my favorite lines from a movie is “To my room, stepmother!” It’s from “The Slipper and the Rose” and I always say it in a British accent. It’s a favorite movie so while the line isn’t super exciting alone, to those of us that love it in my family, we love using it any time someone says “Where are you going?” I’m not sure what people think who overhear us in public!

What a fantastic giveaway! I was woefully behind on google reader, and saw your blog through Diana’s. This blog totally reminds me how awesome it was to be in a darkroom with your hands in a bunch of chemicals or shaking Polaroid film until your wrist hurt.
My favorite (of many) line from a film (again, of many–most with much more merit by small film makers or indie icons) has got to be from the final Harry Potter movie: “Words are our most inexhaustible form of magic.” What can I say? I’m an English nerd.
You probably selected a winner already since it is now Monday afternoon and no longer Monday morning. Poop.
